Are you ready for a change of pace? Do you want to experience how people in other parts of the world live? You might need to consider moving to New South Wales. This eastern part of Australia is the center of most happenings: it has amazing cities, gorgeous beaches, breathtaking mountains and plenty of work and relaxation opportunities. Want to know more? Here are some of the reasons to move to NSW.

The weather is amazing

New South Wales is famous for blue skies and an overall sunny and pleasant climate. Summers are hot and perfect for outdoor activities and beach outings, while winters tend to be quite mild. The further down south you go the weather gets hotter in the summer, so if you’re a fan of sunshine, aim for the south. However, the higher parts of the Great Dividing Range have some of Australia’s largest snowfields so you can always have a fun and active winter.

Public transport is top-notch

If you’re not much of a driver, just know that New South Wales has an excellent network of buses, trains, light rail, coaches and ferries. You can simply grab the Opal smartcard and gain access to all of the transportation in places like Sydney. If you have your car with you, you can rely on excellent roads which are very safe and well-marked, just remember that Australians drive on the left side of the road. If you’re a foreigner, it might take you some time to adjust to Aussie driving.

It’s a place for party animals

Aussies love to party, especially when they have a cool occasion to celebrate. No matter what even there is, you’ll find plenty of people laughing, dancing and sharing drinks with friends. Don’t believe it? Well, grab some front-row Sydney New Years Eve 2019 tickets for the biggest party of the year and celebrate with hundreds of like-minded people as you enjoy the fireworks over the Opera House. All in all, you won’t have issues finding a party that fits your preferences wherever you go in NSW.

It’s perfect for nature lovers

The coastline of New South Wales stretches for more than 2,000 kilometers and it contains hundreds of gorgeous beaches perfect for swimming, snorkeling or surfing. While it’s impossible to name all of them, some have to be highlighted. For instance, make sure to visit world-famous Bondi and Manly beaches in Sydney, especially if you love a lively and exciting atmosphere. If you’re not into coastal life, you can find other fun outdoor activities like hiking or mountain climbing. NSW is home to Blue Mountains in the north, Snowy Mountains in the south and towering Mount Kosciuszko—that’s plenty of mountains to conquer!

Economy is booming

If you’re looking for a new job or planning to get into the workforce soon, NSW will provide you with a wide variety of work opportunities. Since the economy is booming in this part of the country, strong job growth is projected for the following few years.  Living in big cities like Sydney isn’t cheap, but if you find a good job, you can expect to live comfortably.

Foodies will have to watch their weight

If you’re obsessed with hitting restaurants and visiting all those tasty food and wine festivals, NSW will blow your mind. Thanks to its cultural diversity, you’ll have a large variety of meals to try out. The region is known for its strong Asian influences so expect to come across some top-notch Asian and Asian fusion restaurants and food trucks. If you’re more into liquid diet, amazing wineries await you in the Hunter Valley.

Ready for your big move? Pack your belongings, grab some tickets and New South Wales will welcome you with open arms and soon become your forever home.
