Finding an agent - how does it work?
Finding the right agent can make a big difference to the sale price, or rental return, of your property.
Receive proposals from agents in just three simple steps.
Step 1. Complete a few simple questions with our online form. You will be asked to complete details about your property including: suburb, type of property, estimated selling price, timeframe for selling, number of bedrooms and bathrooms. We also give you the option to ask three questions upfront before you meet any agents. We have listed a number of questions you could ask (see below).
Step 2. We list this information on our site so agents can submit proposals to you. While personal details are provided in step one, these personal details are not listed on the site. Agents will then respond via email with their proposals and/or video responses. We do not vet the proposals and we do not refer to any specific agents or agencies.
Step 3. Respond to the agent or agents that you wish to receive an appraisal, or further information, from. We give you the opportunity to ask a few questions upfront. This will help you to understand how the agent operates and can be a unique point to differentiate one agent from another. Armed with this information, you can go into the first meeting with the agent having greater confidence and knowledge. You decide which agent(s) to move forward with.
