Selling your home or investment property is one of the biggest financial decisions you will make. In three simple steps you can have agents send you an appraisal and a market report that you can evaluate in your own time.
Complete the online form. This takes around five minutes and requires you to provide some basic details about your property. We also allow you to ask prospective agents three questions. We request all agents respond to your questions.
Your request is listed on our site. Your name, phone number, and the address of your property remain confidential. We will disclose the type of property, suburb, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, a price guide, and a time frame outlining when you want to sell. If you would like agents to email you directly, we also give you an option to include your email address. If you prefer, we will review agents’ proposals and not provide them with your email address. Once listed, all agents are free to submit a proposal to you. You have the option to ask agents to respond to specific questions. We have also established a video response process and encourage agents to submit a short video pitch to provide insight into their presentation and communication skills.
Responses will vary from agent to agent. You can review these in your own time and make contact with as many agents as you like. Armed with their information, and maybe a video (if you have requested one and they have supplied one), you can go into the first meeting with the agents of your choice with greater confidence.

Receive a written proposal and/or video response
At RealestateUno we encourage agents and agencies to provide a video response. As part of your request for a proposal, you can list up to three questions you would like answered. Like an interview, a video response can provide you with a better insight into the agent who will be selling your property.
While some agents may present well on paper, a video will provide a whole new perspective.
What makes this process different to the others?
Our process is unique in a number of ways.
Firstly, there is no middleman between you and the agents. While a vendor advocacy service has its benefits, there is someone in the middle referring you to an agent. Vendor advocates are remunerated by the agency recommended. This means there can be an element of bias as to the agent they refer to you. As RealestateUno does not come between you and the agent you choose, we do not influence the outcome.
Other service providers use publicly available information based on sales and customer reviews and present these to you. This process has its limitations as you do not know if the final list has excluded any agencies.
We believe the process at RealestateUno rounds out the process as there is no one between you and the agent. We do not review data provided and make judgment calls on who does or does not present to you.
The process at RealestateUno provides a level playing field. You list your property and all agents have an equal opportunity to present their proposal. You are then free to review these in your own time and decide who you would like to meet.
